Rationalisation of plant Kiekert CS
Janoušek, Pavel ; Neužil, Karel (referee) ; Hlavenka, Bohumil (advisor)
The theme of the bachelor thesis is solving increase in the enquiry in Kiekert CS, which is producing central latches- Basisschloss. There are propounded three possible solutions: the decrease of work difficulty in cricital workplaces, the implementation of weekend shifts and doubling of critical workplaces. The possibilities and the conditions are described in the sections three and four.
Negative electrodes for sodium ion batteries
Šátek, Dominik ; Libich, Jiří (referee) ; Máca, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with sodium-ion accumulators with focus on negative electrode, introduces basic terms in the field of secondary cells and describes production of accumulators. The result of this work are tested electrodes based on natural carbon and sodium metatitanate. These electrodes are then compared with each other and evaluated.
The examination of the effect of titanium dioxide on the properties of lead-acid batteries
Mlýnek, Martin ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
Despite, considerable advances in technologies for storing electrical energy, lead-acid batteries are still the most widely used these days even it was invented more than a century ago. The functionality remains the same since its invention. Today´s time puts certain pressure on improving some aspects of the functionality like, heat management, charging and discharging speed, capacity and durability etc..... This bachelor´s thesis is based on the last mentioned, Durability,. The work presents the theory of acid batteries with the history of chemical reaction, technological production processes and battery construction. It is followed by a chapter about titanium and titanium dioxide as an addition of negative active mass where all the aspects are being examined in this work.
Expanded and Flake Natural Graphite as Negative Electrode Material in Lithium-ion Cell
Paulovics, Petr ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Libich, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an issue of lithium-ion batteries, primarily with negative (anode) electrode materials. Natural graphite in two forms, namely flake and expanded graphite, is used in the thesis as active electrode material. It is concerned with study of their capacity and output characteristics depending on the pressing pressure and discharging current. The first part of thesis consists of theory and describes basic principles and the composition of lithium-ion batteries. Materials, their characteristics used in production and theoretical description of measurement techniques are presented then. The second part of the thesis is focused on production, assembling and measurement of the characteristics of the produced electrodes. The aim of the thesis is finding the effects of changes of pressing pressure on the capacity, stability during cycling and stability at higher loads.
